Sources we plan to use:
- Back issues of the Carleton Literary Association Paper (CLAP), 2002 – 2023, collection PB188, Carleton College Archives, Carleton College, Northfield, MN. https://archive.carleton.edu/Detail/collections/186.
- One issue per year from 2002 – 2019, one issue per term (when possible) from 2020 – 2023.
- Format: Physical paper booklets, which need to be scanned into PDFs. (This task is mostly complete.)
- Rights: Owned by the Archives. These publications were distributed to the entire campus when they were published, but they are not posted online or publicly available otherwise, so we will only publish anonymized data in our project.
- Privacy/Ethics: There are names and faces of students at the time in every issue, and occasionally sensitive content, so we need to make sure that we maintain people’s privacy (i.e. don’t reproduce personally identifiable information) when we aggregate our data.
- Carleton Literary Association Paper (CLAP), 2024-2025 academic year, Carleton College, Northfield, MN.
- Format: PDFs obtained directly from current CLAP staff. (We are working on obtaining these, but do not have them yet. May need to make do with personal copies scanned into PDFs.)
- Rights: Not owned by the Archives, but in the possession of and directly distributed to us by CLAP staffers. Besides that, see above.
- Privacy/Ethics: See above.
