  • The source is a picture of the carleton map sometime before 2008. 
  • Carleton owns the material and was to help visitors navigate through the campus. We plan to use the picture in order to georeference onto ArcGIS Online so this format works.
  • The old campus is depicted in the data. There is no sensitive information.

  • The source is a pdf. We need the source to be in a png to import as a reference for 3d modeling. We take a screenshot to turn it into a png. 
  • Carleton owns the material and is used to inform people about demolition plans. 
  • The old music and drama center is depicted in the data. The source does not contain sensitive information and is mostly logistical.

  • It is in a pdf format, which is the format we need in order to georeference it.
  • The Campus map is depicted in this image and is posted publicly on the Carleton website for everyone to view and access. 
  • There are no privacy/ethical issues with this map

  • This source comes from Carleton College Archives and is a collection of Carletonian articles, an image gallery, and documentation regarding the Multicultural Center. We are using this source for research purposes in gathering more information so the format is good.
  • The Carleton College Archives are accessible to the public. Anyone is able to view articles and images related to the history of BIPOC Student Organizations at Carleton. 
  • Previous students and faculty are depicted in this data through images, articles, and documents. All information regarding these populations must be removed when using this data. We should reach out to the organizations mentioned in the data if we plan to share it publicly

The source is a pdf of the floorplan of the lower level of Carleton’s previous Music and Drama Center. 

  • Carleton owns the material and was created to aid visitors and designers understand the layout of the building. 
  • This website is a public WordPress site accessible to everyone. It is in a format we can use as we will use this site for research purposes.
  • The old Music and Drama Center is depicted in this map of the building’s layout. There is no sensitive information in this map because it was presented to the public with the intention of helping viewers. It is important to consider that previous students, Benton Franklin and Russel Li, created this map. We would not share identifying information regarding the students.

  • This is a pdf of a slide show that explains some of the planning that went into building the new SHAC. The format is fine since we will use this source to help provide context to our project, explaining additional information about SHAC and where the new building will be located. 
  • This pdf was found on the Carleton website, created by Carleton. It is in a format that is needed. 
  • There are no privacy or ethical concerns with this source as it is publicly available on the Carleton website for all to access.
