Final Presentation

Here’s is my groups final presentation for class on Tuesday 3/11.

Our project focuses on the exploring the transformation of Carleton College’s campus from 2008 to the present day. To do this, we created an interactive web map and 3D models, highlighting some of the buildings that were added and demolished during this time frame.

  1. Team VCC,

Your story map is looking good and the final web page is coming along. A few notes to help finish up

    – The website is pretty simple as a one pager, which worked for the midterm but you have more room for the final. I’d urge you to include more information, perhaps broken out on multiple pages, of the process, in particular. You had a bunch of slides in your presentation that described aspects of the process not shown here – most of that should be on the final site as well.
    – The storymap is well done, but it would be helpful to have a simple timeline of the changes you are focusing on outside of the map. WP has a timeline block that would be a nice addition on a separate page with just the basics of when things were added or removed.
    – Finally, it’s probably too late to do much with them now, but here are some images I took of the concert hall before it was demolished from all four corners.
