For my midterm project, I georeferenced a map of Africa from 1831 and created an interactive web map using ArcGIS Online to explore the changes in boundaries and regions over time. A link to my WordPress can be accessed here.

Hi Sarah! Your interactive web map turned out so well! The line feature was a great choice to define the boundaries and stands out against the gray base map. I also made a web map for my midtem but at a much smaller scale so I am impressed that you were able to map an entire continent. Nice work!
Your map looks great and is easy to follow! It’s really interesting to see how the divisions have changed over time. The popup feature was really helpful for comparing the old and current locations; it made it much easier to understand how Africa’s regions have transformed.
