Linked here is my midterm project, which is a 3D model of one of the 27 found statues of Gudea which currently sits in the British Museum. To create the model I used Agisoft Metashape using those tools to clean it up as well.

Hello Simon! I really liked your 3D model and your reasoning for creating one for our midterm. I agree that 3D modeling is at the heart of Digital Humanities, as it uses technology to increase access to the humanities in a way that a traditional museum exhibit cannot. With the 3D model, the viewer can analyze the artifact more intensely and think about the story of the object more (like its creation and preservation). I really appreciated that you included contextual information about the statue as well, so the class could come up with their own interpretations.
