For my project, I used Voyant to textually analyze Jonathan Carver’s “Travels through the Interior Parts of North America” in the years 1766, 1767 and 1768. (Check out my project!)

I really loved how you laid out your website — it looks so clean and thematically on point! Plus, those pictures! But more than that, I appreciated how you developed a process to do text analysis with no prior knowledge on the book you were exploring. The questions you came up with were really insightful, and they make me want to dig into this subject now, too!
Hi Sylvie! I love the presentation of your website and how each section is organized with color! I also appreciate how you investigated the prejudice and normative language in the text using Voyant, as that could uncover important ideas of underlying discrimination across the text. However, it was also interesting how this text analysis emphasized the need for context rather than just organizing the data. Great Job!
